Frequently Asked Questions
about working with Nadja
-
I completed an intensive course of study in classical homeopathy at the Academy for Homeopathy Education. Working under the supervision of experienced homeopaths during my study was particularly formative, as it enabled me to work with real patients and gain clinical experience.
Living in Germany for a few years I licensed as alternative health practitioner (Heilpraktiker) through the German Ministry of Health.
Back in the Unite States I got board certified as a professional homeopathy practitioner (CHP) through the North American Homeopathy Examiners (NAHE). -
CHP stands for Certified Homeopathy Practitioner. In the United States the profession of homeopath is not regulated and therefore also not a protected term. Anyone with any level of knowledge and expertise can call themselves a homeopath.
Homeopaths who take the board certification exam through the North American Homeopathy Examiners (NAHE) work to set themselves apart. The certification exam is only accessible to homeopaths who graduated from an accredited school, which means they have completed an education program of at least 1,000 hours of study under the guidance qualified educators in the field of homeopathy.

No, I am not a licensed medical provider recognized in the United States.
In Germany I am recognized as an alternative healing practitioner with the ability to diagnose and treat certain conditions using non-pharmaceutical substances.

Consultations are held digitally, through Zoom, from the comfort of your own home.
At our first meeting, we will have a detailed conversation during which I will learn what it feels like to be in your body. I want to know what concerns you - physicaly, mentally and emotionally -, and what is preventing you from achieving your goals.
After your first consult and my careful analysis I will recommend a homeopathic remedy individually chosen for you. We will then give you and your body about one month to allow the remedy to take effect, staying in touch when necessary, because every body reacts differently.
-
Initially, we will meet about once a month to assess the progress of your well-being and decide whether a change of remedy may be necessary.
Homeopathic treatment is not strictly time-limited. In the beginning, it is strongly recommended that you prepare yourself for an initial consult with at least two follow-up appointments at monthly intervals.
Ideally, your homeopath accompanies you through the ups and downs of life. Sometimes we see each other more often, sometimes it's not necessary for a while. I am your partner on the road to well-being.

At this point I only offer telehealth appointments through Zoom video software.
In the future I hope to establish an in-person office for local clients in the Central Oregon area.

Yes, I work with people of all ages. If you have any questions about working with me for yourself or a family member, please do not hesitate to schedule a free phone call to discuss any of your concerns.
-
My chosen video software is Zoom, which can be installed on most digital devices and is free for you to use.
Before your appointment you will receive a link through which you can join me online. Being stationary on a computer or tablet works best, but if necessary Zoom will also work on your smartphone.
